Can I sell my device without buying a new one?
Trade-in is currently available only as part of a new device purchase. When you buy a new device from HandySwap, you can trade in your old one and receive its value as a payout to your bank account after inspection.
How do I trade in my iPhone when buying a new device?
Start by providing details about your device's condition, appearance, functionality, and battery health. Once you submit this information, you will get a price estimate. When you purchase a new device from HandySwap, we'll provide a prepaid shipping label for your old phone. Pack it securely in a box or padded envelope, attach the label, and send it — no accessories required. After we receive and inspect your device, you'll receive the trade-in payout directly to your bank account. If the condition differs from your description, we'll send a revised offer. You can accept it or have your phone returned free of charge.
What do I need to do before sending my phone?
Before shipping your phone, please make sure to:
- Turn off Find My iPhone (FMI)
- Erase all data from the device
- Ensure the phone is unlocked (not tied to a carrier)
- Remove the SIM card
Once done, pack your phone securely and attach the shipping label provided. You can then schedule a courier pickup.
Can I send my phone via any other courier?
No. You must use the prepaid shipping label we provide. Do not send your phone via other couriers or the post office, as we cannot cover those shipping fees or track your package.
Can I cancel my sale?
Yes. If you've filled out the sales form but haven't shipped your phone, simply keep it to cancel the sale. If you've already shipped your phone, you can cancel at any time before it enters the payment queue by contacting our customer service.
How is the quote for my phone calculated?
Your quote is based on:
- The condition you describe
- Potential repair costs
- The phone's model and storage capacity
This estimate may change after inspection. If the actual condition differs, we'll send you a revised offer. Quotes are valid for 14 days after form submission.
What if I'm not satisfied with the price?
If you're unhappy with the price offer, you can choose not to sell your phone. If the inspected condition is worse than described, we'll send a revised offer. You can accept it or have your phone returned free of charge.
Do you offer trade-ins?
Yes. You can trade in your old device when purchasing a new one. After placing your order, ship us your old device — once inspected, you'll receive the trade-in payout directly to your bank account.
Which iPhone models do you buy?
We accept iPhone models older than the iPhone 11.
How can I keep track of my sale?
