Buy iPhone 18 Pro: A Serious Camera That Fits in Your Pocket
Every camera lens has an opening that lets in light, called the aperture. On previous iPhones, it was fixed. On the iPhone 18 Pro, the 48 MP main camera can shift between f/1.48 and f/4.
Why should you care? A wide aperture pulls in more light and blurs the background naturally. That's perfect for portraits, pets and night-time shots. A narrower aperture keeps more of the scene sharp, which is ideal for landscapes, architecture and group photos where everyone needs to be in focus. You're no longer relying only on software tricks. The lens itself adapts.
The rest of the camera system keeps pace. A 48 MP ultra-wide, a 48 MP tetraprism telephoto with 4x optical zoom and an 18 MP front camera round out the setup.
Performance and Battery That Keep Up
The A20 Pro chip is built on a 2 nm process, which means more speed with less power drawn. In practice, that shows up in battery life: Apple rates the iPhone 18 Pro at up to 36 hours of video playback. You also get Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 through Apple's N1 wireless chip, for faster downloads and more stable connections with the latest routers and headphones.
Who the iPhone 18 Pro Is For
Pick the iPhone 18 Pro if you want flagship features in a phone you can use one-handed. At 6.3 inches and 211 g, it slips into jeans pockets and small bags without a second thought. If you watch a lot of video, edit on the go or want the absolute longest battery life, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is the better fit. Otherwise, the Pro gives you the same camera and chip for less.
Choosing Storage and Colour
At HandySwap, the iPhone 18 Pro comes in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. With the new camera's higher-quality files, 512 GB is a sensible middle ground if you shoot a lot. Colour choices are Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. Burgundy is the boldest option, while Glacier offers a cooler, lighter look.
