Warranty Terms & Service

Two kinds of cover, and you have both

Every phone we sell carries two separate protections. They run at the same time, they come from different places, and they do not last the same length of time. This page explains both, because knowing which one to use is usually the difference between a fast repair and a slow one.

1. The manufacturer’s warranty. A voluntary guarantee given by Apple, Samsung, Google or OnePlus. The manufacturer sets how long it lasts and what it covers, and the manufacturer decides claims made under it.

2. Your statutory conformity rights. A legal right you hold against us as the seller, under EU law. It lasts a minimum of 24 months from delivery, and it applies to every device we sell regardless of what the manufacturer’s warranty says.

You do not have to choose between them. If a device develops a fault, come to us and we will tell you which route fixes it fastest.

Apple’s limited warranty runs for 12 months, not 24. It is shorter than the other brands’ and shorter than your statutory rights. That is not a gap in your protection — it is the reason the next section matters.

Your statutory rights: 24 months, and they are against us

Under EU Directive 2019/771, we as the seller are liable for the conformity of the goods for at least 24 months from the day the device is delivered to you. This is not a benefit we are offering you. It is a right you already have in law, and nothing on this page, in our terms, or in any manufacturer’s warranty can reduce it.

What that means in practice:

  • If the device is not as it should be, you can ask us for repair or replacement, free of charge.
  • For the first 12 months, a fault is presumed to have been there at delivery. You do not have to prove it.
  • If repair or replacement is impossible, or is not completed within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction or to cancel the purchase.
  • You claim this from us, not from the manufacturer. Contact our support team and we take it from there.

Where the law in your own country gives you more than this, your national law applies.

Where a device can be serviced

Manufacturers may limit warranty service to the country or region where the device was first sold; Apple sets this out in its own warranty terms. If a manufacturer declines to service your device for that reason, contact us. Your 24-month statutory rights against us are unaffected, and we will arrange the repair or replacement ourselves.

What the manufacturer warranty covers

The manufacturer’s warranty covers hardware and software faults that appear under normal everyday use:

Manufacturing defects:
Faults in materials, assembly or workmanship present from the factory.

Battery performance:
Battery health dropping below 80% within the first 12 months, subject to official manufacturer diagnostic testing.

Display faults:
Screen delamination (separation).

  • 3 or more dead pixels.
  • Backlight failure.

Connectivity:
USB-C or charging port failure not caused by debris or physical force.

Audio hardware:
Defective speakers or microphones.

Camera defects:
Failure of the autofocus motor, sensor faults, or internal lens issues.

Official software:
Critical system failures caused by official, unaltered firmware updates.

What the manufacturer warranty does not cover

The conditions below fall outside the manufacturer’s warranty. They do not automatically remove your statutory rights against us. If you are not sure which applies to your situation, ask us rather than assuming you are not covered.

Accidental damage:
Drops, cracked screens, dents, bent casings, or any impact damage.

Liquid damage:
Exposure to liquids beyond the device’s official IP rating, or corrosion found inside the device.

Third-party repairs:
Damage caused by service, opening of the device, or part replacement carried out by a technician the manufacturer has not authorised. Having a device repaired independently does not by itself end your statutory rights against us — only damage actually caused by that work is excluded.

Normal wear and tear:
Cosmetic scratches, paint fading, or minor scuffs from daily handling.

Unofficial accessories:
Damage caused by uncertified chargers, cables or power adapters.

Software modifications:
Rooting, jailbreaking, or installing custom ROMs or unsupported operating systems.

How claims are decided: A claim under the manufacturer’s warranty is assessed by the manufacturer’s authorised service centre, and the manufacturer makes the final decision on it. A claim under your statutory conformity rights is made against us, and we are responsible for resolving it. We will always tell you which route we are using and why.
